Simple Harmonic Motions
A short film exploring the properties of computer generated wave motions and soundscapes produced by synthesisers.
This musical collaboration of electronic music includes tracks composed by Tom Tebby, whose encouraging suggestions helped shape the project.
Generated in Lightwave, a 3D rendering and animation package, the film juxtaposes mathematical approximations of fluid motions and the harmonic structures of frequencies produced by electronic musical instruments.

These are all essentially music videos, where the image creation and sequencing is dictated by the initial score. Some are originals, others a loving homage to almost forgotten tunes.
